Production Diary week 25
This week we created our first draft for our video, We didn't have much footage so we couldn't fill the whole video. But we begun to link the lip syncing to the lyrics this is where we came across our first problem as we hadn't expected how difficult it would be, but after lots of try's and cutting the lip syncing down to each lyric at a time we managed to link these well. We also really liked our shisha shots as we felt they reflected the cool vibe of the song really well side by side. Once putting the other narrative shots in we found they got confusing alongside the lip syncing as they was all looking at the camera.

First Draft
Here is the first draft for our music video, this was just experimenting with our first shots. We didn't have enough footage to fill the whole, but we started to link our lip syncing to the lyrics, we really liked the graffiti shots and felt they matched the song. We also like the shisha shots as they matched the cool vibe to our song. We didn't like the narrative shots, as she was looking at the camera so it looked more like a band singing together than two separate parts. I really liked the lip shots and we feel we will use these throughout.

Production diary week 24
The week we filmed our last narrative shots to tie the story together, these included the shots of me getting ready and walking at the beginning, these gave us a more story like feel to the video and i think this will engage the audience more as they will want to follow the story. We experimented alot with different camera angles firsly through the mirror and also walking over the camera, these gave a very interesting look and gave more or a variety to the shots.

Getting ready shots
Here are the shots we took of our narrative getting ready. We took this to put in the video at the beginning to keep the narrative flowing. We experimented alot with using the mirror to get better angles, I think the mirror shots came out really well as they was more interesting than just looking at the camera I think these will help engage by audience and also tie the whole narrative together more. We was really lucky in these shots as the natural lighting really reflected the mirror nicely so we didn't have to worry.

Walking Shots
Here we have taken shots of our narrative walking, this is to tie the beginning of the video together. The shots that worked the best were the shots of girl walking over the camera i think these caused a really life like effect. I found some of the shots where the girl and the camera walk simultaneously a bit unsteady and blury so i don't think we would be able to use these. The lighting didnt effect us too much as we plan to put these shots in black and white.

Production Diary Week 23
This week we continued to work on our digi pack. From our feedback we have found out what photos we should defiantly use, the lips and the floral one. Therefore firstly we tried to add the title onto the digi pack we started with this on the chest of the star, but found it got lost into the kisses and couldn't really be seen. Therefore we created another draft with it to the left, we found this looked much better, as it filled the blank space and didn't get lost within the kisses. Next we decided to focus on the layout and how to ensure where each shot needed to be so they would match together when they was foled. We found out that the CD needed to be in the top center, this meant we could not have the floral photos over two shots as it would then get in the way of the CD, therefore we chose to add another glitter photo, so you could see the styling of these shots aswell as the face make up in the close-up. We also added a lip photo, but as it was at an angle so the CD didn't fit properly. Therefore on the final one I have decided to decorate the CD with animations rather than a photo.
Digi Pack draft 7
Here is the 7th draft of our digi pack, we decided to try to put a picture of lips over the CD so that we could continue the flow of lips. Although I think the lips look slightly disorted, I have also found it hard to find lips that are the right proportion. I also tried a less italic font so that it is more clear.

Final Digi Pack
Here is our final digi pack. Since my previous draft I have added the album name on in a similar font to the title so it easy and clear to read. For the CD I looked at real life ones and saw they was more of a logo than a photo. I therefore used the logo and animations of lips to keep it flowing and also flashes of paint so that it flows with the website.

Digi Pack Draft 6
Once we had chosen the pictures we wanted I began to put it into a layout of a real life digi pack. This meant turning the photos so that they could fold properly. Also we found out that the CD would have to be in the top middle so we couldn't have the photo over two slots, although once we turnt them the double picture didn't look right. On this draft I also added the production stuff at the back of the CD cover to ensure it looks professional.

Digi pack draft 5
In my previous draft I didn't like the font in the middle, I have therefore tried it to the side and I think it looks much more professional. I chose the italic font as I think it reflected the feminine look of the woman especially as she has her shoulders on show.

DIgi pack Draft 4
Now we have decided the layout of our digi pack, we have begun experimenting with adding a title on to the front cover.I first tried it over the top of the model body but have found that it was lost slightly into the kisses on the body.

Production Diary Week 22
This week we begun to start putting our digipack together. We did 4 drafts over the week developing each one. We begun with a range of shots from mid shot, close up and long shot and a range of effects from bright to black and white. If the first draft we decided that some of the photos we're not as flattering and that the black and white stood out too much. Therefore in our second draft we included them all colorful so they flowed more, we also included an extreme close up to show even more variety. We was also unsure if we should use the floral photo over one or two pages of our digi pack so tried it in this shot over just one, but found we prefered it over two. In our third digipack we therefore put it over two and decided to remove one of the mid shots as we already had a lots of them. At this point we received our feedback on the 4 we already had to help us move forward. We found out that the close up and floral shots were working really well and that everyone prefered the front cover to be more colorful.

Digi Pack Feedback
At this point we chose to get feedback on our 3 digi pack drafts to see what our target audience thought of our digi packs so that we could be sure they agreed with us.
From our feedback we found that our audience liked the close up alot, we decided it would be good to keep a variation of shots anyway so are going to use this. For the front cover we found that the kisses and the flowers are the most popular, We have chosen to use the kiss one as we think there is more room for the title to the left of her.

Digi Pack Draft 3
Here we have adapted the parts of the first 2 digi packs that we liked, we chose to have them all in colour so they would flow well. Also we chose too use the close up and have the floral shot acorss two photos so that we could show a wide varation of shots to make it look more intersting.

Digi Pack Draft 2

Digi pack draft 1
Here is the first draft from out digi pack, we started by choosing one picture from each of the styled photo shoots we had done before. We tried to use a range of shots from mid shot, close up and long shot. We also chose a range of effect from black and white, added shadows and adding pictures onto it. Although we had used a range of shots we felt asif there was more photos we that could show off our skills, model and styling. Therefore we decided to look back at our photos and consider adding a close-up. We also wasnt sure if a picture acorss too sides worked well or not, so decided we would try a a draft without it and ask out target audience for feedback on which they prefered.

Production Diary Week 22
This week we started taking the pictures for our digipack, we focused on three main looks kisses on the body, glitter on the face and flowers in the hair. These looks all reflected the bright and colorful theme we have tried throughout the video. We took a wide variety of shots so that we could make choices on what we preferred.
