In this clip I have discussed our two main song choices, our general ideas and which one me prefer.

Here we asked our audience what they thought of our song and how they felt the video alongside this should be portrayed. This helped us with giving us ideas but also making sure our ideas linked well with what our audience wanted.

Production Diary Week 9

Now we have chosen our genre we have decided to focus our research into just indie and R&B genres. Firstly we looked at the main conventions of these genres so we know where to begin and so we can follow these to make our video fit the specific genre and be realistic.

Key words

Here we have made a word cloud of our key words that we have got from the song when listening to it and how we want our video to be preserved. We have chosen to write these words down as we want something to look back on so that we know we are staying on track and so we can compare our end video to these words to ensure we made the video how we wanted it to be.

Why we chose the words:
Happy = the theme we get from the song
Bright, light, sun = to reflect the happy theme in the song
Colourful, blues, pink, greens = to make the video bright and therefore reflect the happy theme, also to keep in interesting and engaging
Young, teenage, girls = to describe the people we want in our video
Inide, pop, r and b = to describe the genres of the song
kiss, lip = we want these to be the icons throughout our video
laughing = to reflect the happy theme and make the people look happy
London = setting we want for the video
